Rather then spend a ton of money on shipping parts to and from. Why not support your local businesses? Stainless is a pretty easy metal to polish, difficult to burn or blue stainless. Check with local trucking company (big rigs get the wheels, fuel tanks and stainless polished regularly) and ask who is a good and economical metal polisher.

Harvey doesn't do any plating but he does polishing. His work looks just as good as chrome, though.

Browns plating is in your state and is where a lot of the high end car and bike builders send their stuff.

Dalin, when they are spending your money it's pretty easy to suggest using out of town vendors. Why, in your right mind, would you pay extra money on shipping? That's an absolute waste of money that could be spent on something of more utility to you.

Local businesses pay taxes in your community. The local businessman hires and pays wages to an individual in your community. The person earning that money will be spending it in your community. Eventually the benefits trickle down to you and your family.

This has nothing to do with Harvey, or supporting a fellow Oldgasser. It is simply economics 101.

I agree with supporting local businesses as well. And it's a plus to see the work in person up close. I learned the hard way. Pics are very deceiving. Even on my own parts I received pics of finished products and was so excited to get em back and when I opened the box I thought it was a joke at first. Then I thought he got mad at me and quit halfway thru. But after emailing back and forth I realized that's what he thought was done. Now I have 400 dollars spent and a box full of stuff I wish I had back in original condition.
