Folks,

My friend Dave asked me what I thought this can is worth. I would appreciate if anyone can help. This can belonged to his uncle.

Here is Dave's e-mail:

Hi Henrik, here is the can as found. Still full of oil, one pic I rubbed the can in a red area to see if it might clean up and it came out a nice red. One shallow dent near the solder seam, otherwise no other dents or leaks. Let me know what you find out. Thanks, Dave.

advertologist, your 'PUREST PENNSYLVANIA' can is rarer, in both 1 and 5 qt. The 'MONARCH OF OIL' version is what you usually see when available.

$511 now. I'm thinking that if I put a $666 bid on it, wouldn't last a couple hours as someone wouldn't be able to live without seeing their name at top... even though 5 days are left to go. The can will likely be won within the last 10 seconds of the auction.

NEWBIE STUFF!... where's (Jason) Esse's Garage.
