A short time back, I placed a Want ad for a couple Veedol mini banks that I didn't have... Both version were made for the German market and have a "Flying V" instead of the "Flying A" logo... Thanks to Ebay Germany and John(Nucky), I now have all 5 versions(that I know of).... Thankfully the 3 sellers all spoke English, much better than I speak German... And all 3 transactions were much less painless than I deserved!

If I recall correctly, the blue European Veedol bank came in two different versions with the country identified for the company being different. I think one said town in Austria and the other a town in Germany. What town does yours say?

I think it might be Vienna, Austria. It's been several years since I looked at them and mine are in storage so I can't check them. I think the banks are identical except fot the town.

Probably taken off of Sonja Henie three time Olympic figure skating champion. 1928, 1932 and 1936. She was Norweigen and became a famous movie star. Mitch
