I am spending time in icu fixing to get bypass surgery tomorrow. Had a massive attack while driving 04-14-12; lucky for me I had someone who took the wheel.
Everybodys stuff will be on hold for a bit.

The argentine computer is more than halfway done but I wont be back home for a while. It will be the first to be worked on when I am able.
I'm still ain't out of the woods yet since more cutting tomorrow. I am using/learning "kindle" to update you all today. I may not be able to keep up with this post.. since I am using a borrowed unit to post this.
Please dont send any computers. I can't accept them till the ones that I have get done.
I have lost some short term memory from around the time of the attack so bear w/ me on the orders I already have.
I will be in touch as soon as possible
Thanks guys...joe

Joe, Sorry to hear the news. I know you'll be back at it soon but take the time to heal first. The rest of this is nothing if you aren't here to enjoy life. Best regards, Paul www.severngaspumps.com

All the very best Joe with your operation. I have been there with a triple and yes it usually takes awhile to come back but with time and rehab you do get better. Take any rehab afterwards that the hospital offers, it is worth the effort. Your health is everything, just focus on getting better bit by bit.

Get better soon. The #1 thing to repair is you. When the doctors, your friends and family tell you to take the time to heal, to have patience with the process, and to hold off getting back to other things, listen to them!

Just loged on here tonight and read the post by Joe and was wondering if any would would reply with what he is worth to you? Me like a lot of others are way to tired of reading post by recent members who only want to know if they can get more than they paid for an item. Joe recently did some work for me and I would consider it priceless, the man has a true talent and it is a shame that more memebers do not appreciate what he brings to this hobby.Get well Joe and thanks for what you have done for me!

Great to hear from you Joe! My 72 year old friend had a quadruple bypass last fall and recovery is slower when you're that age but it was a new lease on life for him! He feels better than he ever has and is able to do all of the things he normally did!
Your life will return to you, it just takes a little time and you have a lot more of it now than you did before! So glad everything went well. Thank you for the update, as we were all concerned for you!---KEVIN

Thanks everybody,
I am doing a bit better. It may be a while before I can get back to computers. Two came in while I was gone and they will have to wait.
I am staying at my sisters and don't know when I will go home.
Still in some pain from cracked ribs from CPR. But on top of it all I am quitting cigarettes so it's AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH.AAAAHHH.AAAHHH on top of everthing else. The patch is helping.
Thanks again everyone
Joe

Joe--Recovery time does take a while from something like this and it seems to go oh so ever slow, but its needed when you go thru something like you have. Time will pass and you'll be able to do the things you enjoy again and you have to give thanks for that!
I've had a couple of major surgeries and I was always very thankful when I woke up but man o man that recovery time is painfully slow! Looking back, I am glad I took my time and let everything heal the way it did.
Not too long ago my wife bought herself a NOOK and she reads from it a lot. You might try that to pass the time. Just a thought!
Get well my friend--we're thinking of you! KEVIN

Joe- I smoked like a locomotive from the ages 13-40. I finally quit 12 years ago and I have to say its one of the best things I've ever done for myself as well as my family. Not to mention an automatic pay raise. When you really think about it, its a really crazy addiction. Lung cancer is a terrible way to die. Hang in there and dont smoke NO MATTER WHAT. It'll get a little easier each day!

Joe,
Take it from a guy who is even older than you, you need to be more concerned about yourself than rebuilding those computers.

Just decide you need, two, three or even more weeks, or even change that to months, to get your s--- back together. Just answer your emails, tell the guys, this is a hobby, and it will take a little longer than antisipated, if they can't wait, tell them you will send their computer back the next day.

You are more important than any computer.

Being a plumber I am in different places every day, this staying in one spot is driving me nuts. My ribs are feeling a little better, but the healing time is way different than the last hernia surgery when I was back to work in 2 days.
Thanks guys for all the good wishes
Joe
