I found this in my brother-in-laws garage a few weeks ago and it's been there for a long time. All I know is that it's very rare and the last one I could find online at auction was in 1995 and sold for $7,500.00. I've found several of the signs the say 'Gasoline' but only 2 different pictures of the 'Motor Oil' version. My brother-in-law just wants it gone so I'm looking for any information and the value if possible. It's covered in dust and grime right now but looks really clean underneath with some pitting around the edges. I'd say it's about an 8.0 - 9.0 rating. Thanks for looking.

Sadly this is the only thing we found besides some old license plates. I'm gonna clean it up and post a pic when i'm done.

Very nice sign, killer graphics! You'll have no problems getting top dollar for that. In my opinion, e-Bay would be a good place to market that sign.

...run it through eBay or Matthews Auctions, or the Iowa Gas auction...you might be looking at 5 figures...
