Maurice told me to post he left last night from pate and he is on his way there and said. " Bring a big fiddle if you want to dance he has his eye on 9 and plans to bring them home"

...yeah...him...and Miles Little, and Thornton Beroth, and anyone else with deep pockets in this region...they all 'ran across' them...probably the best batch of globes offered for auction in NC that I can remember...

Welcome to oldgas, small world is it not. The guys that have been mentioned here know the value better than I,load you pockets up and if nothing else go watch the fireworks,it should be good to watch. I've been going to auctions since I was a kid,and I learn something at each one. Buying them to collect, value has a lot to do with how bad you want them.
If you are going to collect globes you need globe value books sold in bookstore on this sight at top of page.
Hope this helps you and good luck.

Well I must say that Eastern Tennesse and Northwestern North Carolina are beautiful coming thru the mountains.
Jerry , I hope you make it as there is enough for everyone.
So glad I "ran across" this auction.
Hope to see some oldgas members who are dedicated enough to drive 1500 miles for a auction and those close by.
