Very heavy porcelain enamel coca cola sign.
100% original, not a reproduction.
Great used shape, with nice shine.
Few chips, around edges, and hang-holes were used.
Not mint but in excellent+ shape. Very unusual piece.

...that Coca-Cola logo looks funky to me...where would this sign have been used - which machine?

I used to see these at coin-op shows. They were also made in blue/white and also in an oval shape. I was told by Allan Petretti (author of the coca-cola price guides for decades now) to stay away from them. The "phony" Info shows on page 608 of his 12th edition (2008). Not this exact sign, but the logo looks exactly the same. Just saying....

I know its not the exact sign as patretti, this is an original. Have had over 40+ years myself.

Coca Cola would never commission such a sloppy sign. The large Coca Cola script looks like the stencil was hand cut. Not uniform or balanced in appearance. Even the "C's" in Ice Cold are sloppy.

Reproductions are not a recent creation or phenomena they have been around for more than 40 years.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that is a reproduction. I seen a similar one on e-Bay recently.
