Well I paid 350 for my Erie without a top so if it I can make it work with even a little fab or work thats better then it sitting in the corner with nothing. Just my 3 1/2 cents:) Personally I don't care for the pump at all but feel lke I have to do something to get it finished.

No more criticisms of the product or the seller will be allowed in this topic. We have allowed some posts that may have been disallowed in normal circumstances because of the unusual third party selling situation.

That means:
Buy it if you want it.
Ask questions directly with the seller.
If you don't like it, pass it by without further comment.

I might be missing something here but I was under the impression that there was also "ANOTHER" top under production somewhere?
Anything to that?

Why wouldn't you put a globe on it? I am thinking many more were delivered with the globe set up than that glass top, that is why the tops are so scarce ? Or ? I've had no problem parting with these Erie's when I picked them up...as I don't care for the styling myself. Something about it.....

This was just posted on the Cheese Pit Stop this morning.

BECAUSE OF ALL THE CRYING ABOUT MY TOPS I'VE DECIDED TO CUT THE PRICE TO COST, THAT'S RIGHT. NO PROFIT. THE COST I HAVE IN THE MAKING OF THE TOP FOR THE ERIE 70 - 91 IS A GIFT TO THE HOBBY. NEW PRICE ON MY WEBSITE.
NEW PRICE $425.00 each includes S/H, A limited number made.

Just like the Tok 36/36B glass tops, there were 4 spring clips holding the tops on. When the pumps are moved & top not taken off, they got broke. Hail probably broke a lot of them also.
