Since I have alot of old magazines, I thought it would be cool to share some of the advertisements in them. Some of these are up to 100 years old, some younger.

It'll be a mix of stuff including petro, cars, tractors and other misc things.

This 1st batch is from 1917:





Says here that HAYES is America's first car? I never heard of that....any truth to this claim?

I was thinking about that motorbike thing. I think it's the evolution of the word motoring...they used it to decribe riding your car and in this case riding a bike.

In Webster's Unabridged Dictionary, the second definition of MOTOR is is 'any self powered vehicle' the ninth, 'causing or producing motion.'
