I purchased a Signal Gasoline sign and am trying to determine genuine or repo?? Research done on Oldgas.com fakes and still cannot tell. Maybe a Andy Rooney repo but still not sure. Measures 11 1/4 across, 4 mounting holes and no white border?? Looks fake to me... Help!

Should have a white border around sign... Mounting holes in wrong place, should be inboard further on the red band (just touching the band)... The back looks off, from the only original I've owned (if I remember correctly)

That sandy looking, textured almost abrasive finish on the back of the sign is found on reproductions only (usually Andy Rooney).

Randy, I hope you don't mind me "blowing up" the photo? Now one can see some of the differences we pointed out...
