Good morning oldgas and the neighbor's bark'n dog. Hopefully you were just barking at a cat and not a prowler. I can't see anything so a little paint on the bathroom ceiling while I am up. Should be a wonderful day when everyone else joins me but for now a very peaceful time of morning (he quit now that I am up). Good day everybody.
Mike

Good morning all!

Rainy this morning tapering off to partly sunny by afternoon. Nothing planned since so wet outside, but will more than likely find something to get into once breakfast is outta the way.

Yesterday, I was dropping off a STIHL chainsaw for some work and I accidentally pronounced the name wrong and said "STILL" and the guy behind the counter said "No, it's 'STEEL.'" Then another customer standing there said "You're both wrong, it's 'STYLE.'" "But, (I said) if your German, it's pronounced 'SCHTEEL.'" We all had a good laugh! smile

HAGD!

Good morning all. It's going to be the 80's today and 50's tomorrow.

Guess I'll have to get out and about today, and work in the garage tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone!!!

I finished the finals earlier today. I'm done with my freshman year of college now. The math final went well, the science one probably not as well, hopefully I'll keep my 4.0 though.

The kicker is that in most college/university courses, especially in Math and Science, if you haven't kept up and you don't know it by finals week, no amount of cramming will do it...

What I'd tell my students is if they want an A, study 1 hour for every hour of lecture class each week, and for a lab class, study 2 hours for every 1 hour of class per week. My husband was one of those guys that could look at something once and he had it. Not me, I had to slog through everything, so not much time for a social life during the semester.

But if this is your second semester and you are an A student, then you have it down pat... Congrats!
