Good Morning All! Just back from a really nice quiet backroads 22 mile bike ride. Rode east with sun obscured by clouds and by the time I 180'd it to return home the sun was out and the sky is blue..temps in the 60's...gorgeous day. I will be buying my usual hanging plant in memory of my Awesome Mom like I do every year. I stumbled upon a cool old 8x10" B&W photo of a barn across the field from where I live from the mid 1940's. Here's the THEN....  and here's the NOW...  Not much has changed since THEN which is the way I like it! Happy Mother's Day all you Moms Living or Not!

Morning all! Beautiful day here again! Yesterday was so nice that the Warden and I spent the afternoon salvaging old tin from the side of a grain elevator that is slated to be burned. Pretty neat old stuff but theres a lot to go yet and it was a pretty good workout just with the little bit that we did! Maybe we'll get the energy to do a little more today?

Happy mothers day all! Made maria breakfast in bed,then went and cut my moms grass,little shopping and now just chilling and enjoying an absolutely great day.stevens gonna make dinner tonight,maybe some fishing and a bonfire!how come I'm so tired on my day off???hagr8 day all! Mick
