I'm trying to educate myself on gas pump globes, I have passed on a few because I don't know enough about them, any tips or books I should know about?

Best thing to do is watch ebay! Look at gasglobes.com and see what Scott post and sells. Go to gas shows and look at globes there. Look at repops.
Best thing to do is get to know other globe collectors and ask for there help! Most of use have asked for help and give help.

Good to be cautious! There are a lot of unmarked reproductions out there and its best to educate yourself before making a big mistake. Don't ever be afraid to ask questions on this forum and be sure to learn how to post pictures because the fastest way to get a question answered is with a picture--especially on globes!
