i'm restoring a 96b and I am missing the door rubber metal strip on one side. how to attach the rubber. need ideas.

The reproduction door rubber has a grove that slides over the rolled original edge of the door. If you use the reproduction door rubber, you don`t need the steel strips from the original seals.
