This winter I hand painted the logo and lettering on
the truck doors of my close friends 51 Chevy 1/2 ton. The truck is being done in a retro look consisting of a 348 tri-power and in satin blk. He is a Flying A nut and has a gas station theme at home to prove it.

THANK YOU, I FREE HANDED THIS AND DID IT WITH A TORN ROTATOR CUFF WHICH IM STILL DEALING WITH, IVE ALWAYS ENJOYED DOING ART WORK AND RESTORING/PAINTING MY PUMPS AND FOR OTHERS. IM A LITTLE SLOWER NOW THAT IM NEARLY 65. THE DOORS LOOK MUCH NICER THEN THE PHOTO. LEE'S 348 IS BORED 30 OVER WITH TALL GEARS SO IT WILL BE A FREEWAY FLYER. THE TRUCK SHOULD STAND OUT WELL WITH DOORS LIKE THIS AND DEPENDING ON HIS DRIVING HABITS THE COPS SHOULD REMEMBER HIM! IT WILL BE DONE BY LATE SUMMER AND I WILL POST A PHOTO OF IT BY HIS FLYING A STATION.
