Looks like you could start fishing right out the sliding door!
Great day here. Clouds, sun and some blue sky. Good day for a nap.

Wow, high water table. Wonder that the basement sump isn't running constantly. Does the homeowner have any action against the builder?

Worked on horse. Did more taping than anything else, it's a pain but I need to put tape on all the edges. Also put in darker sections in muscle creases and hair sections. Scaped the base white off the eyes.

Found some white areas needed some touch up. Did the hooves (but think I will need to do them over a light brown over the green black I did today) and did some practice color on some test pieces for the fur color. If I get up early enough, hope to do the main fur area, then everything else will fall into place.

We spent the day in the city, partly at a retirement party for a long-time friend. Got to see a bunch of folks I haven't seen for years.

Mick, looks like that house could be having some problems.

Hope you're having a great weekend out there in Oldgasland!

Well....I know they have coats (as in use a curry comb on that horses coat) and I know tail hair is used for a lot of purposes, such as violin bows and sofa covers. So what is the short stuff called?

My horse experience was a two week camp when I was a kid. My horse was a pinto pony (hence the pinto indian pony) that was a'scared of another horse that would try to bite mine every time he passed us, which used to freak me out...LOL probably the reason that I prefer to pet horses soft noses (snouts, um, lips, um, what is the thing called that the feed bag goes over?) rather then ride them, tho I could in a pinch.

Now is Sunday but I'll let someone else start that thread because it's time for me to get my scotch and go to bed. Mitch
