I found this sign a while ago. And everytime I drive by it I start drooling LOL. My father talked with the owner of the building. Said his father built the dealership in 1955 and the sign has been there since he opened the dealership. The dealership is now closed. He said the sign wasnt for sale because it was a family owned building and he didnt know if the other family members would sell the sign. I figured next time I ride by I'd throw a money figure out to him. What is the true value of this sign? Thanks for the help. Approx size I would guess to be 42in across

IMO.....If you want it bad enough then you are the only one that can set the price! to me it is worth whatever you are willing to fork over for it.

I bleed Chevy so...it's worth more to me than it is to those guys that drive those other kinds!

up to 1000.00 IMO

That's what more I was thinking at least the 2500+ range. Id love to know myself if the sign is double sided or not. Maybe if I bug them enough they'll let me buy it one day

KZ1000 is correct. That sign can bring from $2500 to $3500+ depending on the close up condition. The real value of course is in just how bad you want that particular sign.
If you go shopping, you'll be paying in the range I mentioned but if you want that particular sign-----maybe you'll have to give too much?
I own a couple pieces that I knowingly paid too much but I wanted that particular piece and had to ante up to get it!
By the way, persistence usually pays off!

Persistence does pay off,but not always.A person can become a nusiance with repeated offers and make a future deal unlikely.

Agree, depending on condition $2500-3500,up to $5k if it were mint (which it doesn't appear to be). Most, but not all of these were double sided. I have had a couple that were single sided and not neon (but they went on a can like the neons do).

Ted, you are right about the prices. Nothing here in NC brings what it does up north and out west. As a picker it makes me sick! haha
