Heed the words above about the air compressor. Bought over $500 worth of cabinet and small tank, them found out my 60 gallon a/c wouldn't produce the volumn, didn't want to buy a new compressor so I have some dust collectors in the garage.

Actually, I find it too time consuming to sand blast, I take 30 to 40 items to the blaster at a time, cost much less than the time I would have spent blasting them, and they get them done in a few days.

After years of do it yourself blasting....I've started using the local blast shop. With the high cost of blasting media and my time, overall it is less expensive and I've made new friends! Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Another vote for the Texas Blaster. Works great, made like a tank. But you will need a lot of CFM. You can gang more than one compressor on the system.

Signs & Neon is correct about the pressue pot blasters being much better and faster.
Its gas is correct about the soda and repaint non compatibility issues and soda does NOT remove rust...
Tp tools is fantastic, has great prices and service and a ton of data on their website....
Blasting is blasting and choosing the right pressue and media makes jobs easy or difficult. ALOT of air is required and they are also coorrect that it must be dry or will cause issues...
