Ran across this today. Is it a cut down pump, an airport pump? Has degraded Skelly stickers on it now.

Thanks,

Lee

More likely used for fueling Peddle Cars & Go-Carts instead of planes!

Cut Down 6' pump by service company for use at farm or commercial fleet operations where price/ gallon didn't need to be recorded.
IF it was ever used for fueling a plane it would have needed a 20'+ length of hose.

It looks like a Gilbarco CFP-1 OR CFP-2 (see page 166 of my book). Look at the top, same square top, but nothing on it, probably a cheaper model.
It also appears that the door was replaced with something cut down.

Also see this page from my website: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/gb%20cfp.htm

So, not a cut down pump, juts a commercial pump with a cut down replacement door.

I Disagree, Jack.
After comparing pictures of CFP-1 OR CFP-2 that Jack posted & what I see in book on same page & the FMP-2 in the link provided & page 168 [shows NO base].
Compare the Bases & Hose outlet position.

Not sure it helps or not, but here is a closeup of the opening at the top of the pump. Probably had a sight glass there?

The pump never had a sight glass. The cut down door was originally from a pump that had sight glasses.
