I was in Philly a few days ago meeting with Sunoco and had to snap these great pics. Don't know what that really cool pump is but I would love to have one. Last one is REALLY cool I think.

...neat photos! but, man - are they off on their dates...
...first pic closer to 1930 than 1920...
...4th photo: 'pre-war quality gas' would be at least 1942, not 1930...
...last photo: car might be from 1915, but the Sunoco sign isn't, and the billboards in the background definitely aren't...probably more like 1945...I like the Sunoco logo on the flood light...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Nobody knows what kind of pump that is? That Sunoco logo looks to be internally illuminated since it has a porthole looking bezel. Just a guess but I like that pump.

Chris. I think its a earlier version of the Martin/Schwartz pump the bezel with sunoco sign I think is a glass globe lense.

...it is a globe lens - I've seen a photo of a different make/model pump with a Sunoco lens in about the same spot...

Neat idea maybe I will make an internally illuminated lense on a pump. I will probably get in trouble by. Will make something crazy but it will be my night light in the shop:)
