Some showed up at Iowa Gas about 15 years ago. Maybe more. Story at the time was they were NOS. Company went toes up before they were used. At the time they were selling the can and an uncrimped lid for 5 bux. I guess someone got a crimper and put the lids on. I still have mine, uncrimped.

I'm sure there are as many stories about these as their are can owners.LOL

I was told that when the company went belly-up, they had a warehouse full of empty cans that were never filled.

Morgan you and Dick are both right. The one I have someone took time to refill with oil. You do see several that have the lids on them.

Is the Swift can still considered more valuable than the Falcon, and does anyone know more about Oscar Bryant himself?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know what the approximate value would be of one of these cans in near mint condition, empty, and sealed? Just curious...

Thanks,
Wes

At one time there were so many Falcon cans around that they were considered the $1 can and at that price they were difficult to sell.
