Last week Travis posted a link to the U.S. PATENT search by Gooooogle. I have spent countless hours looking, searching for Rare pumps. Is anyone interested in seeing the Patent info for differant gas pumps, globes, station buildings, signage, etc. ? Maybe it could be set up similar to the qt can pictures. db

Travis, You go for it! And I wish you well!
Just don't copy and paste from the internet like so many before you and ASSUME its Okay! Or even take the words of others as your own! There is an issue of Legality to consider!
GOOD LUCK

Yea, I know that - I spend a ton of time just defending the 1 trademark that I own - copyrights are there for a reason!...
I thought it would be cool to have a book on the pump patents owned by certan companies - like the FRY's and parts/ideas for them, G&B pumps, Waynes etc. Then another on Odd Ball pumps and designes like the eleapump that Dick posted, or this red crown top pump I found, and the star top pump, or the shell top pump. There are a ton of very cool designs and ideas that probably never made it to market that would make a GREAT book...
There is a Model T book out like this that is a great seller that has all kinds of stop light designs and other ideas for the model T right down to "shock" wheels to improve the ride.
Fun Fun - its only work right?

That is what spell checkers and grammer checkers are for... If everyone could spell GREAT they would have NEVER made them.
That is also what EDITORS get paid for...
Ever watch Jay Leno's monday night headlines - some of those mess-ups are GREAT...
