This sign was used on the back doors of tanker trucks. and I don't believe this sign was ever used on a lubester. Lubester plates were square and worth more than these plates.

Green Opaline went on the other door(I'm looking for that one!)

This is a very nice sign in good condition and definately worth the 1100.00 that you are asking!

Very good price for the condition of this sign, You are correct this was a lubester sign. Used from 1936-1946. They had a 16" version that they used on the back doors of the trucks with are much more rarer and more expensive. I have the green Opaline 11" would love to have the Penn if I had the money
