This sign super awesome looking sign, I was wondering the book value or current day value or if any one else has seen this version or have one. This is the first I have seen and wanted a second opinion on such a high dollar item before I bid. E-mailed seller, guarantees vintage and original. Thoughts????

It's more than likely an english version of a foreign sign. I've never seen this version either!

Better to ask on a Soda Forum than a Gas Station/Oil Co. Forum.

Have never seen that one but I don't think I would sit it in the gravel to take a picture. I looked at the petretti's 12th
edition and the logo on that sign does not seem to be right.

Very true! I've been a Coca-cola collector for 40+ years and I'll be the first to admit I've not seen it all.

I think what Dick meant is you might find more experts on a soda website than a gas and oil website. But, the collection of general knowledge of signs and other non oil and gas items is pretty amazing here......

Yes, thanks for all information, this seems like an above average knowledgeable website advanced further than I have seen or ever been on. Doubt there is a better website for collectible information, well as far as signs and porcelain goes. Thanks to everyone, I think I will try and get coke sign. Seems like a beauty. Great weekend all!!!!!

"things go better with coke" and "drink coca cola"... is that 2 different slogans on one sign? Seems strange.
Is there a date on the sign?

Strange? Not at all when you consider the U.S. Version had the same slogans on their TGBWC signs. Instead of the coke pouring into the glass, we had just the full length bottle.

I been collecting coke signs for a long time and if you look at my sign logo and compare it I do not think that e bay sign is the real deal. Coca cola did not vary their logo arrangement.

Have learned that sign is fact vintage and all original, the markings on sign are authentic. Sign is in fact foreign (Australian) with English text. Very few survived there with the double logo text. This was more than likely imported to someones collection. It will be interesting to see what it brings. What a BEAUTY!
