Hello to all, I am a petro collector from Italy and since I was a child I have always been fascinated by the USA. I like my country of course, but I like so much your country that I believe to be more patriot that many american citizens. Like you all I have a great interest and nostalgia for the past, to be honest I don't like this new present era, nowadays it's a crazy world! My passion is for me like a time machine that bring me back in the past.
I am sorry for my English that is not so good but I hope to be able to be present sometimes in this interesting forum for share my passion with you.
A special thanks to Jim Potts that accepted my subscription and gave me good instructions.
Enrico

P.S. Now here is very late and I must sleep

Thank you to you guys for the warm welcome! It's very nice to be accepted so well. I'm sure I could talk with you of our great hobby.

@ 1970mach: it's not easy find gas & oil signs here in Italy or Europe, in february there was an auto exchange in Torino and there were 2-3 seller with some signs. You could ask for visit the Fisogni's museum in Milano but I believe he don't sell anything. It's a very long time that I don't visit his museum. If you want I can phone and ask for you to go to vist it. Let me know and eventually give me your mobil phone nr. for call you when you'll be here in Italy
I have a very rare sign for sell but extremely expensive...

@ jkyocom: I don't know but as I will can I will check by who it is made the computer that you call crazy!!

I'm really susprised that no one noticed the hold in the middle of the door on his Gilbarco. It was for a hand crank, probably the some one that was used on the T176 series visible pumps. Just in case the electric went out.

Super garage,Petroman!!! I had the pleasure of staying in Monza several days a few years back-wonderful! My grandfather left Lucca in 1903 for the US.
Your nostalgic collection is impressive!
