Hi,
Spent my Sunday going to pick up my Bowsers 585. It has one side that was Phillips 66 and the other was Esso extra. Still has the tiger sticker. So now to start the tear down. Should be fun.

Yes, it is. I have a neighbor who knew where some were. He was able to get me in the door to buy one. Picked this one out of about 10 that the lady had. It look the most complete and was easiest to get out. smile Spent all evening trying to figure out what I have and I believe it is the Bowser 585.

I've attached a photo of a Bowser 585 I have for your reference. Bowser 585's are a great first pump as original and reproduction parts are readily available.

That is interesting, my pump just has 2 rows of chrome where yours has 4. There were several pumps, I got this one because it looked complete and was easy to get out.

Front with "A Tiger in the Tank". The other side has Phillips 66 on it and the chrome pieces are there.

I'm thinking about going back with the Esso Tiger theme as I am a GTO guy. I want to put this in my garage with my 70 Judge.

Can I get the Tiger decals? I looked a little last night with no luck but was looking at a zillion different things, you know how it is when you get a new toy.

Yes, mine is a Canadian pump. Yours should have only two pieces of chrome moldings.

The car. My Dad and I restored it 20 something years ago.

This was three weeks ago at the nicest car show I have ever been to. They said just don"t park on the jogging path. So, I found a big tree parked under it and had a great time. Will certainly be back next year. Beats a parking lot that's for sure.

You can get the decals custom made. You can always do a fantasy Pontiac or GTO gas pump and paint it same colors as your car.

Are there any service books for the Bowers? Or do I just document and start taking it apart?

I was 16 yrs old when my father bought me this car. It's a 1971 Charger R/T, factory 440 six pack, 4 speed, dana 60 with 4.10's. He also gave me the money to buy parts for it. In the early 80's I went to the local Chrysler dealership and bought all new moldings, light assemblies, and nos fenders. I've owned for 29 years.

White cans are pretty rare from factory. Is yours an original white car.
