Gaspedler Petro Enthusiast Registered: Sun Feb 04 2001 Loc: Speedway, IN. USA	This one made me laugh. First let me say, The seller does NOT misrepresent this sign. It is about the fact someone took time to create such a piece in detail in the first place. Here we have a Marathon Beer sign, representing the Marathon Oil Logo from the 1930's. Creator went to so much detail as to create the pyrimid above the Runner that is on the 1930's maps... Now my concern. -- If someone actually buys this I could hurt myself ROFLMAO. 200789374319

Veteran Member Registered: Fri Jul 01 2005 Loc: Raleigh, NC	...no effort for consistency in the fonts, either...but I was surprised to learn that there actually is a Marathon, WI... _________________________ the future of our hobby will logically trend to authenticity; historically accurate restoration & preservation of memorabilia should be paramount...

I'm about 50 miles (as the crow flies) north west of Marathon right now. My new bride and I are visiting with my sons.
