The gulf logo has been repainted or painted on there at one time or another, but to me the knights looks original. What do y'all think about this one?

That sign looks like under all that paint there is another name on that sign. Gulf just looks painted on and not a very good job either.

It's a horrible job whoever did it, but I do see something under the white paint in the gulf logo. How would I safely remove it?

Repainted original Knight's sign, might have had the Earlier GULF logo that was repainted w/ the later logo OR had the Coke Button painted over.
Small town Grocery Store that also sold gasoline.

Not me, I would have used a roller, not a brush or rag, looks like it was done in Tx or La!

Looks like a privlige panel that anyone could put anything on. When my dad worked at RC Cola, they had stacks of these that they would bolt underneath a sign and paint things like grocery store's names, ball parks, etc.
