I hate repops and try to educate myself as much as possible, so whenever someone mentions one on here, I try to study it a bit.
Something confuses me a bit because I am so used to the repop thieves making signs that will bring big money when passed off as original. Why would they go to the trouble of making this one when it will never really hit the big catagory?
Could it be that in the past there were a few sloppy sign manufacturers and we're to quick to jump on some of these as repops? Are we passing judgement on sloppy signs as being repops? The back is the most suspicious part of the sign to me. Wish it was cleaned up a little. The "N" in NO really looks silly too.
I'm not disagreeing on the authenticity here, just trying to learn as much as possible here, and trying to out think the producers of the fradulent material.

Kevin,I hate repops also very much. Some shyster sellers seem to put a lot of junk out there and always seems to get bids on their sloppy junk. I am sure no porcelain sign maker would ever produce such sloppy font as this one displays on,let alone the oil company let such poor art work pass their inspection. The "Sunray" font is terrible and I too am suspicious of the back side.Anyway, some bidder will be quite happy,I suppose with his EBay score!
