This is the nicest original pump I have had.Just got it yesterday.Original signs, paint, globe cap off and all.It was dirty and all we did was strip it down today and gave it a big time detail.Went ahead and added the socket to light the globe while it was apart.I usually gut all my pumps but I just could not take this one apart.Left it all intact.Hope you all have a great week! Mark

That is a beautiful pump....I think it's one of the best condition originals I've seen in a long time. Darin

Mark, Any history on the pump? Were you able to trace it's past or was it just stored in shed or barn for many years, thus preserving the condition? I'm just curious as I'm sure others are if you were able to get any of the history to go along with it. I always try and get that information when I purchase something as I think it adds to it knowing where it came from! Darin

Thanks for the compliments. The story is the pump came from a small town.England Arkansas.Used on a farm and was under a barn covered while in use.Looking at the price I would say that was many years ago when they quit using it.That is all I know about it.Thanks again.Mark
