Morning Brian and all the rest of Old Gas Land! The rain gods were smiling last night and gave us an inch of their prescious rain supplies! Cooler and overcast again today, so it should soak in good!
Still working on Iowa Gas stuff and shipping out a couple of items. Hopefully I'll be ready when monday rolls around!
Have a great day on me!!--KEVIN

Hello All,
Very nice day so far, but it's supposed to be very warm and humid by early PM. We have a cool down coming for the weekend though, which should make it one of the most comfortable in a LONG time, low 80's will seem chilly. I already told my buddy to get the dirt bikes ready as with the cooler weather I'm ready to ride this weekend!
My Dad will be having his annual hog roast Saturday and the weather is supposed to be perfect, low 80's and no rain in the forecast. It seems to be either hot or raining on that day so I hope the forecast holds true. He normally hosts 125 people or more and the homemade food is wonderful. Can't wait.....
Have a good day,
Darin

Hi everyone,

I worked at my daughter's house yesterday laying patio pavers. A sewer pipe broke and washed out a chunk of her yard near the house. The pipe is now fixed, but they left the soil grade uneven where it would pool in an area that needs to run off. I straightened that out and put in a paver sidewalk in the area most prone to erosion. Hot day, glad that job is over.

Another hot one today, over 100. Tomorrow there is a front coming with a chance for slightly cooler temps and maybe rain! Yay!

Have a great day out there in Oldgasland!

I feel bad for saying this but, it's only 56 degrees here. We're expecting a high of 60 and it's foggy.

Stay cool out there.

82 here today, but a fairly good breeze of 8-10 mph kept it very nice and comfortable....

Jim,

Did I hear right that today is the 11th day of triple digits in your area?

Whew!

Lovely hot but dry day, I think upper 80's lower 90's.

Late check in here!

Been up since 4:15AM. Worked on the paver walkway from 5:15-6:15AM when it was a cool breezy 60º closing the gap even more with 150 pavers. Should have it done by saturday. High today was only 77º and looks like showers for the next 3 days. Rains seems to miss us lately. My next door neighbor farmer set up irrigation pipes and I've never seen him water in 4 years, so the drought must be bad.

GOD SENT US SOME RAIN....PLEASE! wink
