I have to agree on the dating of the Coke sign Jeff....if it were from the 30's it would have a much different look and would say DRINK, not ENJOY. I have a AM46 sign that I thought was that old until I bought some of the books which actually date the sign to the 1950's. Those AM codes can be misleading.
Regardless it's a very nice clean sign Mac that any Coke collector would like.

If it was a 30's Coca Cola sign the trade mark would be in the tail of the "C" for Coca and it wouldn't be a red and white sign. It is a much later sign.

Thanks guys. I was wondering about that. Didn't know what the AM-39 meant in the right hand corner. The sign is porcelain, not painted, so I guess I thought that was the date. It has an aluminum frame around it. Some kid had put stickers on the sign. I used Goof-Off and when I ran out of that, I used laquer thinner. I was scared to use it at first because I thought the sign was painted and not porcelain, but after looking at the sign closer, it appeared to have shelving like a porcelain sign.

What a great coffee grinder!!!!!!!

I bought another Coke machine this weekend. Off the top of my head I tried to figure out how many machines and chest type coolers I have and where they are? I was at 23 when I remembered the other one in the back yard. Some day, I will line them all up in one place and see what I really have. Maybe if I live to be 104 like my grandmother did. I did not even count all the ones I have gotten rid of over the years.

Today's finds. The tire signs have been cut on the ends but have good color for a 1952 sign. The American Standard signs are pretty boring. I cut the two worst ones down to make them have a little more appeal.

Picked up a few bikes from a couple yard sales & a cool neon from a local pub that changed ownership. The day after I got the neon the guys home we got it from burnt to the ground. It was a big luxury apartment in a old sawmill. The whole building was a loss. A shame because the old woodwork in the place was beautiful frown

Pics of the appt.

I actually picked these up earlier this month. They are HUGE! But, original porcelain black and white road directional signs that used to stand along the roads along Lake Merritt in Oakland. They also have the original union workers' labels attached. Sheet metal local and union local.
