I have question about the Sinclair plate about 1/2 way down page 5. It has shiny silver gromment's & plates with those type alway's seem to get called out as fakes. Same as the Mobil plate that was just discussed on here. To me the Mobil plate looked very good, but everyone questioned the gromment's. So is the Sinclair real? Just trying to learn.

Sinclair Oils 6" is beyond correct. I saw the most knowledgeable of Sinclair collectors buy one as 4 were available. Used this logo into the 50's with the exploration\pipeline division. Legite find and bought by very legit collectors. Anderton, Bettin, Greg, Maxwell, Patton, Von Holten all thought they looked legit. (and if you don't know any of those names, you should do some research)
