Can anyone out there tell me if the I.D. tag on my pump shows the date of manufacture???

No don't think it will but it can be tracked down by it's serial number. Someone on here will have a book with the info in it if you post the serial number. I have one somewhere, just have to find it. Good to see a newbie from the Frozen Tundra.I think I can safely tell you it's before 1930.

According to Jack Sim's book the 866 came out in 1935. Don't know how long it was in production.

Just post everything that is on the ID tag, and we will be able to tell you what year (and maybe what month) your pump was made.
