Did you see that it has a location for a handle when the power goes out? What handle would fit it?

The Correct one.
Most electric/air operated pumps had that option, not just Wayne.
When most buy a pump at a swap/flea meet, guts have been removed & they have No Idea what was behind the opening.

Wayne 492 handle fits it...I restored a hand-operated Wayne 800 and that was the handle that was on it...no ear on the handle to lock it up at night like a Wayne 515 has.

This 800 is not the hand pump only version, it has a Rotary pump w/ electric motor.

Now I understand your description Dick...most earlier Waynes were the same way as you already pointed out.

I may be able to help you. I think Jerry Keller in Michigan has the piece on top that you need. Whether or not he'll part with it is a different story. He's really nice and very trustworthy so don't be afraid to deal with him. He may want you to have the head cast in order to help him with what he's missing? Tell him Goober sent you and you need some help with an 800. If he cant help, I've got another connection or two on those pumps. Here's the digits: 419-343-9385

Kind Regards,

Goober
