Picked up a new Regent Pump sign. Fits in nicely in the Painted Metal pump plate section. LOVE A GOOD PUMP SIGN! Thank you, Sue. grin

Finally got my Iowa Gas Buy home. I didn't take my truck to Iowa gas because I wasn't planning on buying a pump but when I found this one for sale I couldn't pass on it.

Disclaimer:This is a picture of my gas pump, I took it,and I approve this post.

Nice pump there John! Looks better than it did at Iowa! Now that you've disclaimered the pic does that mean I can't repost it at a later date without getting in trouble? Or receive a "that's been posted before on here" reply?

Some things are just too hard to find without the help of others!
Mark Smith had called me last winter about a few Cities Service items that he had just come across and he was wondering if I was interested in any of them? When part of the find was a case of NOS Cities Service Trojan oil cans---well, I jumped with both feet! I had sort of given up on finding the right number of cans to fill my old oil rack---much less NOS cans! I paid Mark for the cans and picked them up at Iowa Gas, and they were patiently waiting in a plastic tub until I got around to cleaning and stacking them on the rack for display!
Thats one of the great things about this hobby-- the help you get from other collectors, whether it be help with finding an item, or transporting an item across the USA! It sure makeas it fun to know those kind of people and I can greatfully say that I have met a lot of them in the past few years! Mark is a great guy and if you've ever done business with him, you already know that! Thank you Mark for contributing to my Cities Service display!

Our museum picked up this Wayne 615 within the last two weeks. All that is missing is the hose. Not bad for a first time pick. We were very lucky.
