is this a repop or real. has some rust scale at the bottom, but that doesn;t mean squat. I bought it cheap- I liked the graphics so if it is a repop no biggie, but I'm just wondering... and if it is real what would it be worth?

Tin ones are fake...double sided porcelain versions are real...only seen one original one (these went on the bottom of the curb signs originally...

Joey, I thought all the signs that hung under the curb signs said,

" The CREAM of 100% pure Pennsylvania Oil, Double tested and Guaranteed"

oilman514...ask Dan VanKannel...I am fairly certain the Ford signs (dsp) versions similar to the repop pictured above were used under the curb sign...they may have had more than the one you're referring to and the ford version...Dan VanK has the Ford version... smile

Hey, Nice sign! I talked to Dan a few days ago and he explained it to me. I had no clue of this version, much rarer than the one i was talking about.
