I am working on a few pumps and I want to experiment with color schemes. Does anyone have experience using something like Photo Shop to take a picture and try out different color schemes?
Thanks,
Doc

I realize this doesn't really answer your question, as I have wondered the same thing, but, I have had really good success google or bing searching for a particular pump under images. I have alway found some schemes I really like, and some I know I don't want to repeat.

That's funny!
What's wrong with closing your eye's and creating a mental visual picture? Go with a gut feeling and have fun doing it.

You have a dog?
I would think that if you want to do a fantasy pump, having those crayons, or photoshop is a good idea. Sometimes paint changes color (at least for your optic nerve) when you put different colors next to each other. For example a dark gets much darker next to a light. Or blues get much bluer next to oranges.
So not a bad idea if you don't see one in the photos that you like. Better than hating what you painted and having to go through the cost/time to redo.
