Found today nice Gilbarco 86, full model number is 86AR15. Anyone tell what this pump is with the letters and 15 numbers? Square top on it like 36B Tok's. First one I've ever run across. Yup, bought it.

AR means it has a Rotary pumping unit (thus the "R") as opposed to a centrifugal pump.

How lucky to get all these answers to my question, Ron Scoble looks like a good answer but a few others I'm a mite skeptical about. I think the 15 is for the width of the face plate, hey? Can't find the chip in my Kodak Brownie camera to down load pic's Old Racer but I'm working on it, got lots of time, RETIRED u no. My partner in crime will be loading some pics later today,Dodgeman60 he calls himself but caught him looking envious at my Ford truck today. He's my son and left here couple hours ago with a full Dodge load.**************

I sold one earlier this year and have one in the back room in parts that I am working on.

http://www.oldgaspumpguys.com/Pages/Thingsfound3.aspx

I will have to look at the tag on the one I have.
THAT is a Nice one!
