After almost installing a hoist from my rafters to move this heavy thing we are almost there. I think I will have to buy a special wide dolly to move this sucker once it's done. This is the kind of pump, even gutted, that you could leave outside because nobody would be able to lift it:) I probably won't test that theory though. Just wanted to put some pics up.

Excellent Kris! Are they going to remain as Texaco pumps?

Yes I have this kinda weird "put them back the way they came" thing going on. I should have it done within a week or so and will post commented after. Thanks guys.
Question: the book states that this pump should be a model 35b but the tag is leafy marked with the regular deep stamped 36B and TWIN is next to it. Kind of strange.

Your tag should have Model 36B, Type TWIN. 1 ID Tag for BOTH Pumps.
The Books states Model #'s not Type.

WOW!!!!
Hey Kris you may already know this.
Put a thick washer at all four corners between the top cast plate and the frame when you install it. It allows extra clearance when you install the doors, with the extra top to bottom clearance the sides seem to slip into place easier also. Just a thought, it's always worked for me.
Are those white face bezles?LOL

Kris,if you think the pump is heavy now,you should have tried to move it before i gutted the internal parts from it.i tilted it onto a rollback flatbed, and took it home. and boy did those parts stink,Lyle

So last night I put eveything together and looked at the pump and I couldn't put my finger on why it looked like something was missing. Walked up to the house and in ten minutes I realized I forgot the Pump plates. Well anyhow I like it and suprisingly enough my wife actually liked it also. Not getting a comment on colors or trim was like a Christmas miracle:)
