I am working on a National A-38 and was wondering what type of rubber is used on the window glass. The retainers are for a rectangular piece of glass but the opening is curved and has a lip. Does the rubber go on the lip? And if so what type of rubber. Thanks for any help. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Bill, The original ones I have seen just use the rubber U channel along the glass edge that is under the retainers. That's what I do when I restore one, works and looks good. Tom

I also use the R101 rubber, fits and looks great.
Thanks, Phil _________________________________________________ Looking for any old pumps, or nice 5 gallon cans.

Thanks for the input. Wasn't sure if the rubber went on edge of glass or on door opening.
