Beware - Person already tried to pass this off on OldGas as original. It is on eBay now as an original sign with a starting price of $799.99......Sheeesh.

...looks like they added the questions to the description...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

It appears so. Hmmm...I wonder why? If we can prevent one person from getting hammered by these people we have helped the general public! At least they know we are out there looking at the items they are passing off as originals and calling them on it!

It's completed but still there. Here's what they added in the auction
"On Nov-05-12 at 10:58:02 PST, seller added the following information:
I AM BEING TOLD THIS IS A REPRO.............I DO NOT KNOW, BUT ASSUME THE EMAIL IS CORRECT......LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK........I DO NOT WANT TO MISLEAD ANYONE ON ANY ITEM I SELL......."
Sound to me like they weren't PURPOSELY attempting to mislead anybody. Once they were given information that it was a reproduction they added that in the auction.
Great job on sending the e-mail and great job for the seller on adding it.
