Well I have a lot to be thankful for, good health, a good wife, and this Friday Lord willing I will be 41. This month has been good for finding pumps too! I finally got another unrestored Wayne 40 delivered today!! This wouldn't have happened without a very good oldgas member hooking me up with the owner. Thanks!! 2 weeks and 2700 miles later from left coast to right, she's finally home!! Can you guys make out the decal on the door? I would love to know what brand it was.

in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Great looking pump Mike! The only thing I can say DB is you have got a lot of years of gas pump knowledge to figure that out. That's some history on that pump. It has seen a lot of changes over the years and it's a survivor for sure. Don't just push it in the corner. Let's see it lighted with a globe on it! Get to work on it.

Put a Globe from each company & use it for a Christmas Tree this year.

db you are good at the details. I seen the pump in person and spotted what you did except the Sunset.

I see 3 different WILSHIRE Tombstone decals [Light Green, Blue & White main body colors]. The RIO GRANDE MOST Likely was CRACKED Gasoline. I don't see any ETHYL letters/decals, so am guessing it was used for REGULAR.

Amazing DB! This is very interesting! I sure would love to see some examples of restored pumps in these brands or some vintage pictures. Which one was most likely the original for this 40? It might inspire me to restore it to the original West coast brand.

first image I could find of the Rio Grande Cracked Gasoline, pretty cool. That would make a nice pump but getting repop globe lenses may prove to be difficult. I will double check but I believe this might be the first decal on the door.
