I have a M&S80 with a tall base. Are the tall base and short base on these pumps easily interchangeable? If so does anyone have any short bases for sale? thanks.

Nate

Nate:

The tall bases came in cast metal (Not steel but something 'aluminum' looking) and stamped steel. The short bases came as stamped steel - as far as I know.

My understanding is any of the bases will interchange.

I don't have a spare short base - but I'm sure someone on here does.

Later . . .

Jim

would you be interested in trading your tall base for a short base? I'm working on a short model 80 and could just as easily make it tall.

There's two mounting types, basically with tabs and without. You an modify either to fit. There's two types of short bases, one curves in and one flares out slightly. The tall base would be a direct swap one the one that flares out a bit. Hope this helps....Rich B

I'm looking for a shorter base "WITH" the mounting tabs for the frame. Thanks everyone!

Hang on to your tall base. More popular and fewer of them

Nate,
If you are still looking for a short base with mounting tabs send me an email, I have one plus about anything else you might need.
Tom.
