What is the consensus on this Mobil gargoyle sign up on Ebay now..real or fake??320246753454
From what I have read about porcelain signs the shelf marks on back make it look suspect, does anyone here have an opinion?

I'm not sure, but I don't think they made any orange/yellow background signs in this design originally? Only real ones I've seen are white background, and there are tons of fakes in white as well. VERY few of these oval signs look genuine to me. Just my 2 cents, for what it's worth.

These signs have been discussed alot on this site...
My opinion is that ALL of these ovals are FAKE.
Maybe someone can post a link to the original topic about a year ago on these signs...

The way things are anymore about fakes I would stay away from it. The only way I would buy one is if it where from a very reliable source that would guarantee it 100%
