Here is my buy. It is 30 inches and double-sided porcelain. The back is about the same as the front. I believe it is pretty rare, as I have never seen a round Waverly sign before. If anyone knows anything about this piece, please let me know. And I love the Valvoline rack sign above, it is killer. The little boy beside the sign is my granson. He loves this stuff too.....

Bought this 1910 Bowser Oil cabinet a few weeks ago. Just got it delivered this week, and cleaned up a bit.
The dispensers behind the 1/2 side doors are 65 gal. storage compartments. The pump behind the full center door is a mod. 41 kerosine pump. From the orig. brochures I've read, the black pump was for kerosine or fuels other than gasoline. A gasoline pump would have been painted red. The glass is beveled, and on the center door, it's beveled and leaded.
I fell in love with one of these many years ago at Jeff Pedersons "General Petroleum Museum". I've never been able to find one to purchase until now. This one, is the most "original" I've ever seen. As you can tell, I'm very excited about this one.

thanks guys. This cabinet was used in private garages and carriage houses. In one of the brochures, it states "first floor" cabinet. At first glance one might think that meant something like "first cabin" or "first class". After moving it into my garage, I decided it meant "you're crazy if you try to move it anywhere other than on the ground level". lol
It's listed at 1100 lbs. empty. I had 5 guys helping me get it up the 4 stairs of my office, and it took every one of us.

Ok that makes sense. I agree that does have to be the buy of the year and thanks for sharing the pics of something I never even knew existed.

Here's my buy of the week. $5 bucks at the flea market from a nice old lady who's husband owned a texaco station. I asked if she had anything else like that and she said my husband had a pump at our house, if you can move it you can have it! I know it's not much but it's a mega score for me and my first pump also!

Both are nice items. A gas pump and an air meter for $5.00. Best 5 bucks you will ever spend.

I think any Old Gassers would be happy with that $5 score, let alone a nice pump thrown in the deal for the taking!
Good job!

I bought some more goodies this week. I bought a pemco lens, 8 NOS patches, and 15 free maps(from Bob Richards). Just this last minute, I traded/bought a broken loin lens. I don't have pics for the maps, or the lens.

Thanks
Noah
