Bought this recently and thought I would share it. It's an early 30 gallon dispensing barrel most likely from a general store. Contained Pearl Oil Kerosene product of Standard Oil Company of California.
The barrel measures 24" tall by 20" diameter as seen in the pictures it is very clean has been in dry heated storage for many years. The original paint is pretty dry and brittle as well as the graphics.
I believe it dates from the late 1920's-30's.
Anyone able to provide any further info on it?

Got this from the same seller. This is a 25 pound Zerolene Cup Grease by Standard Oil Company of California. It is marked Rheem 33 on the front of the can as well as 33 at the bottom of the can. Was this style of can made in 1933 or is it a later can?
1930's Standard Oil Company of California sold gasoline (Red Crown), kerosene (Pearl Oil) and a lubricating oil called Zerolene.
Any further info or insight anyone can add to this would be appreciated.

OOPS, made ANOTHER MISTAKE! Was thinking it was the background, instead of the can.
