I pass thru Hays every summer on my way home to CA. from Iowa Gas.
Would love to stop by someday for a quick tour. I also have some pumps stored in a garage north of you near Mankato KS.
The hole in the door is so you can lock the nozzel in the pump at night to prevent theft.

Glad to know that some younger people are liking this stuff. We need collectors like you to take over when we have to hang our hats up.

Nice collection,
Rob

Cool Cool. I would love to give you a tour someday! I am talking about that hole in the sheet metal above the access door. Sorry need to specify better. My dad went to high school in Belleville, Kansas which is 30 miles east of Mankato. My dads hometown is northeast of Belleville about 8 miles in a town called Munden, Kansas. I have been there many times. Small world! Thanks, Braden

Rob, I'll bet he's asking about the 4" round hole above the cast door.
