Hello! Was Pennzoil ever available in the quart bottles with the metal spout? If so what kind of decal was used on the bottle! Any help appreciated!

Bill, I'm not aware of Pennzoil ever having it's own labled bottles , even within the Elk refining-Keystone gasoline operations . Maybe someone else may chime in . Ed Shaver

Pennzoil made outboard motor oil in glass bottles with ACL baked on labels. The bottles had a small diameter top opening with a screw on cap. No tapered spout.

Thanks for the info Ed. I guess the decal that is being sold is a fantasy one. WJCurator

Jim, thanks for the info. I had seen the outboard motor oil in the bottles. But I think you have answered my question. Thanks. WJCurator

MOST Spouted Oil Bottles were used to dispense Bulk Oil. I'm not aware of any having a Baked on label like the SUNOCO bottles.
Maybe during WW2.

I have a Pennzoil bottle with a paper label. It has a twist off cap, brown glass. I have never seen one with the spout type bottle. Gary
