Before shot back in April. It was leaky and rotten. The building had been vacant since 1998. Luckily with lots of help we managed to get several grants and it is now a Virginia historic landmark and will have National Park Service historic status by the first of next year

Here is a link to a tv report on the gas station. Thanks to Wayne Henderson for coming to Roanoke to be at our dedication and the Roanoke Transportation Museum for a lecture on gas stations. It was a great day!
